A large outdoor swimming pool and bar area can be found at the main lodge and our friendly and accomodating team serve breakfast, lunch and an `a la carte dinner either inside or out on our deck overlooking the Kafue river.

For bird watchers this is the ultimate spot to find over a hundred species of birds, with the help of our friendly staff. Gwabi River Lodge lends itself to supporting local communities, all the staff come from the local villages and surrounding area and speak proudly of their local history and socio-culture.

For people who enjoy fishing or just want to game view down the river, we have a fleet of boats for hire. The coxwains will show you the best fishing spots or can take you on a game viewing trip or a sundowner cruise. Clients may use our launch site for their own boats.
